Barge Glue All Purpose Cement For Shoe Repair
USING BARGE TO REPAIR LOOSE SOLES
Wipe loose dirt from area of repair.
Apply thin film of Barge glue to both surfaces and keep them apart till glue dries to touch (5-10 minutes). Once dry, press together and hold under pressure for a few seconds. Shoe can be used immediately.
If you are applying a new surface,it is usually best to let a shoe cobbler do this job. However if you need to do an emergency repair, cut the new material slightly larger than the area needed. Follow the same procedure above and trim edges after installed. Trimming can be done with scissors but take care not to cut the edge of your shoe.
